The Smiling Farm's Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

For 2 Salmon Filets

  • 1 tbsp The Smiling Farm Bourbon Pecan Seasonig
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp water
  • pinch of pepper
  • pinch of salt
  • tbsp of butter

Instructions:

  1. Season Filets to taste, we recommend the Smiling Farm's Bourbon Pecan Seasoning  and let absorb while making sauce,
  2. Mix brown sugar, olive oil, honey, water, salt, pepper, and Bourbon Pecan Seasoning in a small mixing bowl until incorporated, 
  3. Drizzle about 1/2 to 3/4 of the sauce onto the salmon filets and rub in to ensure that it will be absorbed,
  4. Place butter in a pan over medium high heat until mostly melted,
  5. Add salmon and let sit for about 10 minutes on each side, once cooked, remove pan from heat,
  6. Add the rest of the sauce into the pan with the salmon and bring to a simmer for about 2-3 minutes then remove from heat.

Some sides we recommend are; Roasted asparagus, roasted Brussel sprouts with balsamic vinegar and honey, or you could lay the salmon in a bed of rice with steamed broccoli.


The last step is to plate your salmon with your favorite sides and enjoy!
